The Wine Feed in Raleigh to Host Hook + Vine

With a name like Hook + Vine, we know we've got your attention! Hook + Vine is the brainchild of The Wine Feed in Raleigh, North Carolina, an online wine retailer featuring innovative and accessible wines, and Dock to Door Seafood, a Chapel Hill-based seafood distributor (think seafood CSA). And what's better than combining fresh seafood with great wine.

Hook + Vine is taking place at The Wine Feed's downtown Raleigh event space and parking lot at 18 Glenwood Avenue on Sunday, October 14 at 4pm. More like a seafood and wine festival, Hook + Vine will unite foodies and wine connoisseurs with North Carolina-prepared seafood and outstanding complementary wines.

Dishes will be prepared by several of Raleigh's well-known restaurants and catering companies (including Mandolin, PoshNosh, Battistella's and Sarah Cecilia Good Food Co.) and will feature samples from wild, sustainable ocean species like sheepshead and grunts (gray snapper) and classics such as shrimp and flounder. Each seafood taste will be paired with a thoughtful pour from The Wine Feed's extensive selections.
