Hotel Indigo is the New Star on Asheville's Skyline
One of our biggest (and seemingly only) complaint about Asheville, North Carolia is the lack of a unique downtown hotel option. With the exception of charming bed & breakfasts in the downtown area and a few chain hotels, there really isn't much to get excited about for an urban accommodation. Until now!
Hotel Indigo Downtown Asheville, opened for less than a year, offers a 100-room boutique hotel experience right in the heart of downtown. With a contemporary design throughout and all the modern amenities that discerning hotel guests have come to expect, Hotel Indigo is a welcome addition to the downtown lodging scene. Their full-service fitness center is open 24 hours a day and their sleek lobby full-service restaurant, One Fifty One Boutique Bar and Kitchen, focuses on the food to table concept with small plates, organic seasonal foods made totally in house, along with daily specials, unique cocktails and live jazz on the weekends.
And coming later this fall, Hotel Indigo will be unveiling 16 new penthouse suites with floor to ceiling glass windows offering breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and downtown Asheville. The contemporary units will feature adjoining units, terraces, fireplaces, wet bars, refrigerators and the space to really enjoy a weekend getaway or a long-term stay.
And all of this within walking distance of the historic architecture, funky and eclectic shops, and tasty dining that downtown Asheville has to offer.
