Fall Golf in the Carolinas

It doesn't get much better than golfing in the Carolinas in the fall. Cooler temperatures, fewer crowds, and a slower pace make for great golf conditions....and The McConnell Golf Trail makes for some quality golfing in North and South Carolina.

The McConnell Golf Trail offers access to eight of the finest private golf courses in the Carolinas and links generations of greatness with its Donald Ross, Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Greg Norman and Arnold Palmer designed courses. The options cater to the discerning golfer who is in search of a challenging quality golf outing with unmatched service.

Courses are sprinkled throughout the Carolinas offering two South Carolina courses (which are the furthest away from their core in NC) at The Reserve at Pawley's Island and Upcountry at Musgrove Mill Golf Club in Clinton. North Carolina options feature three in the Triangle (Raleigh Country Club, TPC at Wakefield Plantation in Raleigh and Treyburn Country Club in Durham), Cardinal Golf and Country Club and Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro and Old North State Club in New London (an hour east of Charlotte and an hour south of Winston-Salem).

Offering extravagant 7, 5, and 3-day event packages which feature a different design and architect each day, the McConnell Golf Trail bills themselves as the highest quality of championship-level courses, designed exclusively for the serious golfer who appreciates a commitment to keeping the game pure and challenging. So grab your golf buddies, plan a road trip and experience a fall golf getaway like no other.

  1. The top view of this golf country club looks terrific! It's awesome because it's visibly clear that the grasses are freshly cut and well-maintained just like those at the country club in Long Island. I'll invite my golf buddies here sometime soon.
