Indie Craft Parade Marching Into Greenville

Is there anything nicer than a piece of handcrafted art to adorn your house or a piece of handcrafted jewelry to dress up an outfit. We love hitting some of the great local craft fairs throughout the Carolinas in search of that one perfect piece. And the granddaddy of craft fairs, Indie Craft Parade, is heading to Greenville, South Carolina, the center of the Upstate's art community.

Indie Craft Parade brings together the best independent artists and artisans in the Southeast and gives them a venue to show their work and an opportunity to interact and connect with the local community. Scheduled for September 7-9 at the historic Huguenot Mill in downtown Greenville, Indie Crafts Parade will feature 2D Fine Art (prints and originals), 3D Fine Art (ceramic, glass, wood, metal), Fiber Art (felted, knitted, crocheted and woven), Ready to Wear (jewelry, clothing, purses, hair accessories), Paper Goods (stationary, handmade books, paper crafts), and lots of other goodies (think toys, pet accessories, home goods, gardens and gardening). There will also be lots of live music to accompany your viewing and local foods for sale.

Admission on Saturday and Sunday are free (how often do you hear that?!). But new this year is a VIP Gala on Friday from 6-9pm for $25 which will give 350 lucky ticket holders the opportunity to get the first look at the artists' work, enjoy an evening of live music and complimentary food and drink, amazing giveaways, and help to continue to make Indie Craft Parade happen.
