A Month to Get Euphoric

It's exactly four weeks from this weekend and we couldn't be more euphoric over Euphoria! Celebrating it's 7th year, Euphoria is THE food, wine and music extravaganza in Greenville, South Carolina founded by platinum-selling singer and songwriter (and local boy) Edwin McCain and local restaurateur Carl Sobocinski.

Scheduled for September 20-23, Euphoria brings some exciting new events to the table. In addition to the sold-out Songwriters Recipe with Edwin McCain and friends, Thursday night brings the new Recipe of a Rhapsody featuring the cool jazz sounds of Mark Rapp, Walter Blanding and some of their friends.

Friday's events include three new VIP Experiences during the day that will satisfy your eat, sip, and listen cravings. Then Friday night heats up with the 2012 Taste of the South under the stars at the Peace Amphitheatre. Featuring music by Edwin McCain and Shawn Mullins, tastes of a full array of Southern dishes from a selection of the Upstate's finest restaurants, and a host of adult (and not-so-adult) beverages, it's a great way to taste it all.

Saturday's festivities start with the Tasting Showcase and has a little beer garden, wine seminar and cooking demonstration sprinkled in to maintain the euphoria. The day ends with a host of wine, champagne, spirits and beer dinners featuring local and guest chefs at nine of Greenville's finest restaurants.

Sunday brings back the ever-popular Jazz Brunch (can I hear an amen!), Culinary Cook-Off and the Sunday Supper featuring Joseph Lenn from Blackberry Farm.

And if we haven't whetted your appetite enough, all proceeds from Euphoria fund Local Boys Do Good, a 501c(3) charity created to support the community and benefit local non-profit organizations.

Tickets are still available for many of the events but the best way to go is with the VIP Experience. It includes everything that Euphoria has to offer and more. Now that sounds like euphoria to us!
