One of our favorite North Carolina wineries is hosting a Murder Mystery dinner and it's bound to be a mysterious (and delicious) evening. Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina is hosting Murder at Greystone Plantation, a fun and funny, interactive dinner theatre show set in the roaring 20's. Get to know the characters and try to solve the crime while dining on a three course dinner prepared by Childress Vineyards Executive Chef Chris Wagner.
The event is scheduled for Friday, August 17 at 7pm and features a Caprese appetizer (Mozzarella-Tomato Balloon, Balsamic Gelee and Basil-Olive Oil Caviar), Chicken al Mattone for the main course served with Grilled Lemon Risotto, Broccoli Rabe and a Thyme Pesto, and Buttermilk Panna Cotta for dessert served with Maple Lace, a Strawberry Cloud and Balsamic Powder. All perfectly paired with two glasses of Childress Vineyards wine (natch!).
